The Apostles’ Creed is a profound declaration of faith, cherished and recited in various Christian traditions, including the Catholic, Presbyterian, and Methodist churches. It serves as both a symbol and summary of essential Christian doctrines.
Trinitarian in structure, the Creed gives balanced emphasis to God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Each time believers recite this creed, they reaffirm the core truths of Christianity and strengthen their dedication to living in alignment with these beliefs.
Learning and internalizing the Apostles’ Creed provides clarity about the fundamental convictions that define the Christian faith. It acts as a spiritual anchor, reminding believers of the shared foundation upon which their faith is built.

I believe in God, the Father Almighty,
Creator of heaven and earth;
And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord,
Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
Born of the Virgin Mary,
Suffered under Pontius Pilate,
Was crucified, died, and was buried.
He descended into hell;
On the third day, He rose again from the dead.
He ascended into heaven,
And is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty;
From there He will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
The holy Catholic Church,
The communion of saints,
The forgiveness of sins,
The resurrection of the body,
And life everlasting. Amen.
